It was announced early this morning that legendary artist Ralph McQuarrie passed away yesterday. The world truly lost a visionary.

Holy cow. Sad Was not expecting to see this when I logged on tonight. That's really sad. He did so much amazing art for the Star Wars universe as well as many other movies. What a great artist.

His imagination helped make Star Wars what it is, I can't imagine the movies without his drawings and designs...
