The are loads of Star Wars forums already all a buzz about the new trilogy, and even though we are mainly a Droids and Ewoks focused site, I am really looking forward to the next Star Wars movie in 2015! I'm hoping that Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford make appearances, even if it's not as the main characters. It's going to be an exciting few years leading up to the new movies!

I'm excited with the prospect of what this news may bring. Whats fun to me, is sharing it with a new generation. I have a young nephew that loves SW, so I'm looking forward to experiencing the new movies and other media with him. I have to admit though, I thought my days as a collector were winding down - its hard to imagine continuing this hobby for another decade or more...

After hearing the George Lucas interview regarding the sale to Disney and the new movies, I wouldn't be surprised if we're still getting new Star Wars movies and new collectibles by the time I'm a Great Grandfather. I totally understand where you're coming from. In a decade I'll be nearly 50. It's hard to imagine still collecting at that age. Eventually it will be time to say enough is enough.

That is awesome news. I have really enjoyed seeing so many cool droids (IG-88 concept droid, RX-24 droid, etc) in the new Rebels animated series now seeing more of my favorite familiar characters (like Wicket) in Episode VII is even better. I am excited for the future.

JJ Abrams will have to deal with some issues relating to ancient Expanded Universe, now non-canonical. About Wicket, he'll have to establish if Wicket married Princess Kneesaa, if she became chief and to what extent Wicket was coruler to the tribe or if was not.

If so, they'd better start looking for a 130-ish cm actor to accompany him, as we're nothing without our best friends by our side.
