25th Anniversary

Less than a month to go until the 25th anniversary of both Droids and Ewoks. Of course we will celebrate it, but will LFL do anything? If there is nothing on starwars.com I will be extremely disappointed. Any idea who the webmaster of starwars.com is and how they can be contacted?

They should surprise us with a DVD set! There have been Droids and Ewoks articles on the SW website, so I'm sure there will be a mention of this, at least I'd hope so.

Maybe you could even write an article about the anniversary - mentioning the site and giving it some publicity! You can also tie it into the release of the new Wicket figure, I'm sure Hasbro would love that.

Actually, I learned of your site through one of the new articles on StarWars.com about the 25th anniversary! I'm so excited to learn of such a site devoted to Droids and Ewoks.

My name is Jerry. I'm the host of a podcast called Republic Forces Radio Network. We're a Clone Wars animated series podcast, but we decided to do a review of the Droids series this summer in the "off season". We're down to our last 3 episodes. It's been a lot of fun and the first time I've seen these shows since Sci-Fi played them in the mid-90s.

Great stuff and I can't wait to dig into these forums some more.

After looking over all the 25th anniversary coverage on starwars.com, I'm hoping that the positive comments from fans that contributed to the articles will help to get us a little closer to our goal of new DVD's as well as new Hasbro figures. Seems like there are more than just a few people out there that would like to see a White Witch speeder as well as Mungo Baobab!

Thanks! Yes, nothing would be cooler than to see a BluRay of these to accompany the Saga films' release.

I would love to see some waves of new figures from Droids done on the core characters from the show. It would be a hit!

We need to convince Lucasfilm to put all the episodes on DVD and convince Hasbro to make more figures! With the success of the new Wicket figure, I think Hasbro may be open to releasing more Ewoks related figures (hopefully Kneesaa next!), but we need to push for some more Droids figures as well.
